During my recent stay at Nick's Homestay, I found a blend of comfort and tranquility that made for a much-needed escape. Nestled in a vibrant area near Monkey Forest, it strikes a balance between accessibility and seclusion. The spacious, clean rooms, while older, offered the essentials for a restful stay. Morning coffee and breakfast served on the balcony set a serene tone for the day, with the gentle sound of nature complementing the atmosphere. The small outdoor swimming pool provided a refreshing retreat after exploring the local charms. A highlight was indulging in massage therapy amidst the lush garden, with soothing temples and fountains enhancing the experience. While the staff's friendliness made a positive impact, I was surprised by the presence of caged birds throughout the property. This aspect marred an otherwise enjoyable ambiance and raised concerns regarding animal welfare. Nick's Homestay offers good value for families seeking a serene getaway. It presents an opportunity to unwind in a culturally rich environment, yet potential guests should consider the location’s treatment of wildlife.
